These are just some basic ideas for my photo's there will be alot more because i want to be able to put alot of drafts up on to my blog.

The name of my magazine will be Rock City i decided on this name because rock is the type of music i am going for and i thought that city would be good along side the word rock.

Colour Scheme

My colour scheme for my magazine is going to be blue black and white i decided on these colours because i believe that they work well together and will be a good house style for my magazine.





Price
The price range for my magazine has to be the right cost to be able to keep up with the big brands like Kerrang and NME. If it is not then this magazine will not be successful. So the price i am looking at for my magazine would be around £2 to £2.50 ans maybe abit more if there is anything inside for example a CD or anything like that.




 

Examples of music Magazines

The return of Paramore is a good example of a music magazine cover from the magazine Rock Sound. The magazine looks appealing because visually it is appealing with the bright blue and the band been the center piece of the whole magazine. As you look at the front cover the reader is drawn towards the lead singer in the center of the image because she is jumping in the air and her hair is bright red.

Here is a article from a magazine about Hayley Williams this is a good example of a good layout because the writing fits round the image. Even though the picture takes up most of the space in this double page spread there is still enough room to have a decent article.

Blinks return to kerrang for the first time in 6 years. This magazine would have been a huge hit not just because of whats on the front because kerrang is one of the most popular music magazines there is out there.

This is a Blink 182 article from a magazine about the band returning the problem I find with this particular article is that there seems to be to much writing and the presentation of the whole article might make readers not want to read it because their is a lot of writing which does not seem very interesting.
